Are you coming to the Adventure Travel World Summit?

atws09-quebec-logo-canThe Adventure Travel World Summit is on October 19-22, 2009 in historic Quebec City.  I’ll be attending this year as a speaker focusing on Social media and distribution systems for the adventure segment.  I am really excited about being part of the conference this year because it is really well executed and, from what I have heard, one of the best conferences to attend if you are an adventure travel operator.  Although I am not an adventure tour operator, Rezgo is certainly relevant for the audience and the Social media is, as most of you know, one of my passions.

If you are an adventure tour operator, you should definitely consider attending the summit.  You can find out more about the Adventure Travel World Summit at their website http://www.adventuretravelworldsummit.com.  There is a new addition to this year’s program that is also very relevant; a partnership with the OpenTravel Alliance.  You can read the press release titled “OpenTravel Board Member Stephen Joyce to Speak at Adventure Travel World Summit” on the OpenTravel website.

I am going to have to stock up on the throat lozenges.  As you can see, I’m speaking in ten sessions over three days.  Make sure to connect with me on the Summit Connections website or tweet me @stephenjoyce. Look for my tweets and updates using the hashtag #atws2009. I’m sure there will be lots of useful tweet-bites for those of you who cannot attend the summit.

Affiliate Marketing is a performance based sales technique used by companies to expand their reach into the internet at low costs. This commission based program allows affiliate marketers to place ads on their websites or other advertising efforts such as email distribution in exchange for payment of a small commission when a sale results.

This is an extensive list. I am so happy to see so much response from twitter. More and more world summits should be there to promote travel.

Before the 2010 Adventure Travel World Summit, the ATTA will have logged months of work with numerous companies tracking successes and failures concerning the defined Collaborative Learning topics. These companies will cover the difficulties and challenges in a 15-minute opener that stimulates Delegate minds and helps to set contexts for subsequent group discussions.
