another tip is once, you have indentified the hotel of your choice, contact the hotel directly for the booking, often they can give you an even better rate, as they save on commissions etc.. or at least they will match the price you found on the net, and in turn you have full control over your reservation.
Ie. if you book on any of the above sites, wether airline tickets, or hotel rooms, all modifications have to be made through the orginal booking origin… so especially when travelling internationally it can be quite painful to get a hold of someone that can not confirm anything for your as they have to in turn check with the hotel.

So my tip, wether you book flights or hotel rooms, always book directly with the company.. as you stay in control! and most will match the rates you find on the internet, if you are prepared to give them the details of where you found the rates.
