Presentation for Florida Association of CVBs Annual Marketing Conference
Thank you to the Florida Association of CVBs for inviting me down to Gainesville Florida to speak at the FACVBs Annual Marketing Conference. The Conference was a big success and many of the people who were in my afternoon session provided me with positive feedback on the presentation. I really enjoy doing these presentations because I think it helps to take some of the mystery and fear out of these relatively new and sometimes “scary” tools. For those who would like to print out or review the presentations, I have embedded the two presentations below. If you are unable to see them, you can also link to Engaging the Long Tail - Part One and Engaging the Long Tail - Part Two.
Oh, if you enjoyed the presentations please let me know by leaving a comment below. I love feedback so I can keep improving the presentation for others.

Bonjour Stephen,
Thanks for this 2 great presentations and the focus on les Explorers
For your next presentation, I suggest you add stuff around the game with Google Universal Search
I made sometime ago a post about it. Look at Tourisme Internet Marketing
Google Universal Search and your travel industry business. Are you ready?

That’s a great idea Claude. It certainly brings it all into perspective when you can show how effective UGC is when it works together with Google’s Universal Search.
yes, and the search engine “bundle” is a game also with yahoo and others
Hi Stephen;
I attended the FACVB conference in Gainesville last week and thought your presentation was not only fabulous but very informative.
We are incorporating some of the ideas you presented into our social media strategy here at the Sarasota Convention & Visitors Bureau and I look forward to sharing our results with you at a future conference.
